FAQs

By what date should I RSVP?

  • Please RSVP on this website by no later than May 24, 2024.

What should I wear?

  • Cocktail attire. Cocktail attire includes cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or suits & ties. Please note, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be on an outdoor terrace. Heating lamps will be available at the reception if needed.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

  • The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. We recommended arriving approximately 15 minutes early to give yourself time to get seated.

Directions to the Wedding Ceremony Venue?

  • The ceremony will take place at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, Pritzlaff Conservation Center lawn. Take a sharp right turn at the wood sign that lists address numbers 1200 and 1208 on Mission Canyon Road. There will be wedding signage.

Directions to to the Cocktail Hour and Reception?

The Cocktail Hour and Reception will be held at the Belmond El Encanto on the Channel Islands Terrace. The Terrace can be reached by entering the lobby and taking an immediate left and upstairs.

How should I get to the wedding? Will there be parking?

  • There will be limited free parking at the ceremony venue. Please follow signage to the parking lot. Please do not park in the regular Botanic Garden customer parking lot, as this lot will be locked at 5 PM. You may wish to use a rideshare service (e.g., Uber) to get to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, valet parking at the Belmond El Encanto is complimentary for guests. The ceremony venue and the reception venue are within approximately 5 minutes driving distance.

Uber Vouchers

  • If you plan to use Uber for transportation on our wedding day, we are offering an Uber voucher to assist in covering the cost! Please answer the relevant question when RSVPing if you would like a voucher.

May I bring my children?

  • Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event.

Can I bring a guest?

  • Our wedding will be intimate and the venue capacity is limited. Unfortunately, we are unable to host any additional guests that were not formally invited.
